This is a do-not-miss class for anyone seeking to create
a healthy and long-lasting relationship!

What if you could . . . Know ahead of time what a
long-term relationship would be like? Predict the impact
of the relationship on your sense of self, and its impact
on your children or future children? Discern the
difference between what a person is presenting him/her
self to be and what he/she really is?  This workshop will
help you assess relationships more accurately so you
can make better dating and marriage decisions, and
teach you how to form lasting relationships.  In this
workshop you will learn:

-The critical difference between a person’s personality
and their relationship style

-The effects of different relationships styles on you, your
children, your feelings of acceptance and self-worth, and
the ability to form successful relationships

-Red flags of damaging relationship styles, and how to
see them even when a person may be trying to hide them

-How to implement five essential relationship principles
necessary to create healthy and strong relationships with
a deep loving bond that will last

Instructor: Cheryl Merrell is nationally certified as a
Certified Family Life Educator through the National
Council on Family Relations, and has been certified
for 15 years.  She is also a Life Coach specializing in
relationships and life transitions, with over 13 years
of coaching experience.  She has a Bachelors and
Masters degree in Family Sciences from Brigham
Young University, with an emphasis in Family Life
Education and a minor in Instructional Science.  In the
past she has taught classes at Brigham Young
University, and run a private agency, Insight Family
Services, specializing in services for single parents and
stepfamilies.  She has taught classes, workshops, and
seminars for years for groups including singles
conferences, firesides, women’s conferences, BYU
Family Expo, the Governor’s Conference on Marriage,
the Orem Institute of Religion, stepfamily groups,
singles groups, seminars to businesses, and workshops
on cruises.

About The Coach/Certified Family Life Educator
Cheryl R.  Merrell has both a Bachelors and Master=s
degree in Family Sciences from Brigham Young
University, and has a national certification through
the National Council on Family Relations as a Certified
Family Life Educator, and has been certified for 14 years.
Cheryl is an experienced Life Coach, coaching
individuals on both personal and professional issues for
over 12 years.  Previously, she was co-developer of the
coach training program at lifeimagination, a seminar and
coaching firm, where she was also the manager of the
coaching program and the coach trainer, as well as a
coach for individuals and business managers.

What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is a service that provides expert facilitation
and support for people to move their lives forward and
achieve their most heartfelt desires and goals.  It is
designed for basically well-adjusted people to help them
create even more meaningful and fulfilling lives than
they already have.  Coaching helps people assess how
their life is now, what is and isn=t working well, create a
vision of how they want their life to be, help them create
the details to make their plans reality, help them move
past perceived blocks and obstacles, and evaluate and
celebrate progress throughout the process.

Coaching can be used to create more fulfillment in
any area of life, personally or professionally, or to move
past obstacles to progress.  Examples of areas people
have used coaching to create more satisfaction in
include but are not limited to: relationships, life
transitions and changes, health, finances, work/career
development, education, personal development, and
overcoming challenges and blocks.

Coaching will facilitate you in learning to think, create,
and problem solve at higher levels than you may have in
the past, and then using those skills to create new
possibilities in your personal and professional life.  As
part of this process you will be taught valuable
techniques to move past obstacles to your success and
happiness.

Coaching is typically done by phone and e-mail, but
may also be done in person.   Coaching is most effective
when used over a period of time, so the participant has
time to vision out, plan, implement, and follow-though
on their goals, and has support each  step of the way.
