Every second Monday there is a Family Home Evening held at the Pleasant Grove Manila building (map) that is north of the Timpanogos Temple. The parking lots are adjacent. A single adult (31 and over) family home evening will be held on Monday evening.

November 9th @ 7PM - FHE - You are invited to attend a Family Home Evening for singles (31 and over) on Monday, November 9, 2009, 7 p.m. Dr. Larry V. Knight, retired professor of Physics and Astronomy at B.Y.U. will be the speaker. He is an expert in understanding the nature of light. He has a unque perspective of the physics of light and relating it to Light and Intelligence as described in the scriptures and the creation. He is currently serving as a Patriarch in his stake. Refreshments will be served.

Lorin Nicholson Faith in Every Footstep

Brother Nicholson will be using a combination of inspirational experiences and Guitar pieces that reinforce and testify of many gospel messages. It will be a captivating story and an amazing insight into his life as a young man growing up in the church through a lifetime of struggles and extraordinary successes, despite being blind from birth.

Lorin Nicholson has been legally blind since birth. This has resulted in a lifetime of both challenges and success in sport, music, business and education. He began his working career in the health industry as a therapist for eight years.

Early in 2003 Lorin's music interest turned professional. He has released 3 CDs "Unwind", "Summer Rain" and "Only You" His emerging career has already attracted considerable attention from the media with many ranking him with Australia's great guitarists. He has performed before millions.

A dance is held the first Friday of every month. Dance instruction is at 8:00 p.m. then the dance begins at 9:00 and goes until midnight. The cost is $3.00. Refreshments will be provided. The address is 350 W. 700 S. Logan (across from Willow Park).
