The Temple Presidency at the new Draper Temple have permanently designated the 7:00 pm session on the Third Wednesday of each month as the official Singles Session!

It will appear in the official schedule as of January, but Singles are invited to start
attending this Third Thursday Draper Temple session immediately!

Meet at the back of the chapel (inside the temple) by at least 6:30, to go
on the 7:00 pm session with other great singles.

So mark your calendars, Third Wednesdays, 7:00 pm session,and we'll see you there!

Saturday I’m having a Halloween party at my home and I want you to come! It starts at 7:30 P.M. but come anyway if you’re going to be late. It will go until 11:00 P.M. It will be well attended and lots of fun. Here’s my address: 1938 E. Viscounti Drive (8650 So), Sandy My phone is 801-638-7174 for directions. If you’re coming from your business just follow 12300 So to 1300 E. turn left at the light. Go to 9400 So and turn right at the light. Go till you get to 2000 E. turn left at the light. Go to the third light (Viscounti) turn left. An LDS church is on the left side of the road My house is the second house from the church. Bring a swimming suit for the hot tub and a costume if you want. It’s potluck, enough for 6 people or $4 to eat. Anything goes. Hope to see you Saturday. If not at the party, then probably at your class.

The event will have entertainment from some of the best singers from Utah, card making and banner making for our soldiers, silent auction of BYU signed football and packaging of donated items by companies and by the public.  Over 150 Gift Certificates will be won throughout the day.  We will have food from the Belgian Waffle.  There will be fun activities like coloring huge banners, making Christmas decorations and watching videos of past Utah Military units receiving their care packages & letters of appreciation. Volunteers are needed for planning event day and filling out shipping forms. The goal is to raise the remainder of $3,390 for shipping costs as well as collect more donated items like homemade Christmas stockings and special Christmas decorations, etc.

We still need some of the following items: shoes, paperback books, games, toys, candy, small posters, women’s personal care products, Gold Bond and other foot products, card making supplies and stationary, sweatshirts, T-shirts, pure white ankle socks, jerky, dried soups, dried fruit & other snacks, CDs, DVDs, computer games, small Christmas Decorations, non-perishable smaller dry drink and food items not in glass or cans, vitamins, soccer balls and school supplies to give to poor Iraqi & Afghani children.

We are having another religion class set up to start on September 16th. The class will be held every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm and end on December 9th (there will be no class on the week of Thanksgiving). The address is 464 N. 300 E. in Providence. The instructor will be Reed Durham, retired BYU religion instructor, with the course being “Insights and Evidences of the Book of Mormon”. The cost for this class is $4.
