Family Home Evenings with Teens

February 2, 2011 in Motherhood/Women, Parenting

Family Home Evenings with Teens: “

As children become teenagers, parents may struggle to keep them enthusiastic about family home evenings. Recently, families shared with the Ensign what they have done to help involve and motivate their teens.

Ideas include using New Era Mormonad posters, encouraging teens to teach lessons to younger siblings, and giving them the opportunity to ask and discuss gospel questions.

For more about these and other ideas, read or listen to the article “Successful Family Home Evenings with Teens” in the January 2011 Ensign.
